This is a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Lab 610 Glassware Washer. It is specifically structured as a step-by-step technical manual that guides laboratory personnel to perform safe and effective operation of said industrial-grade equipment. In a laboratory setting, the cleanliness of glassware is not a trivial matter; it is the foundation of experimental integrity. The document ensures that every technician, regardless of their experience level, can achieve the same standard of cleanliness. Serving as a part of my capstone project, it displays my ability to act as a technical translator, taking laboratory machinery and making it accessible and safe for a diversely experienced workforce. It is an example of my commitment to precise and correct technical writing.

 In a fast-paced laboratory environment, technicians often need to perform tasks while multitasking or under tight deadlines. I created this guide to provide a glanceable resource that captures the most frequent actions of the lab washer; loading, cycle selection, and emergency stops, without including any fluff writing. When a technician is wearing PPE and managing contaminated glassware, a multi-paged manual is more of a hassle than a help. By implementing a minimalist design document for washer operation, I made it easy for the user's immediate comprehension.
